In a time of isolation and cohesion, a group of friends from college reconnect with each other by means of proximity and reminiscence to relive the good old days.
Put Yourself Out There reveals the unique way eight college students met and became friends through one group member’s social experiment, while simultaneously exploring the vestiges of the group’s friendship one year later.
By comparing the past to a nostalgic, rose-tinted sunrise, and the present to a bittersweet, amber sunset, the lighting roots audiences in a sense of time.

Unique combinations of colors and angles of light for each setting, such as the electric blue backlight at the bar, or the omnidirectional warmth for the cafeteria, help to establish place.
